Leanne Gover

Leanne Gover, MSW, LCSW, is a native of the Susquehanna Valley who has spent over 20 years working as an outpatient therapist in both mental health and substance abuse settings. She is married and lives in Northumberland County. Previous clients have included preschoolers through the elderly. Common treatment problems addressed would include depression, addiction, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, adjustment problems, family issues, marital problems, women’s issues and co-occurring disorders.

Most clients come to treatment to deal with a specific problem or improve the quality of their lives. Therapy can assist people in understanding their motivations and behavior in order to find the answers within themselves. Treatment is aimed at helping people to acquire better coping skills and develop alternate ways to view problems and situations.

Leanne is a qualified Substance Abuse Professional under Federal DOT guidelines. She provides drug/alcohol evaluations for any individual possessing a CDL who fails a drug screen or commits any other violation that might require a substance abuse assessment before they can return to safety sensitive duty.
